Job summary

RECON Engineering & Construction seeks an experienced field machinist to support field service operations across Wisconsin and Oregon. You will perform pipe cutting and beveling, flange resurfacing, drilling, tapping, and milling pump bases, with emphasis on alignment.

Documentation of all activities is required. Candidates should have journeyman-level tool knowledge and the ability to read GD&T on drawings. Travel to various sites may be required.

Qualifications

• NCEER certification for craft position as required.
• Two or more years of discipline-related industry experience.
• Journeyman-level knowledge of the tools of the trade.
• Competent in reading and understanding GD&T on drawings and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs field machining services including pipe cutting and beveling, flange resurfacing, drilling and tapping, milling motor or pump bases, and equipment leveling/alignment.
• Documents all field machining service activities as required.
