Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a field machinist through WECTEC Staffing Services to join a high-impact team supporting nuclear outages across the United States and neighboring countries. Travel and on-site machining will be core responsibilities, using portable equipment and EDM support.

You will read blueprints, set up precise measurements, and ensure safety and quality in demanding environments. A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must pass background and drug

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

You will report to the field Team Manager.

You will work nuclear outages. You will work at multiple work locations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform field machining (cutting, boring, milling, facing)

and electrical discharge machining (EDM) support

• Set up and operate portable machining equipment
• Execute precision measurements, alignments and fits
• Support critical energy projects in the field

WHAT YOU BRING

• Hands-on machining experience (manual or portable, shop machining experience a plus)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and tolerances
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel,work in demanding, hands-on environments
