Job summary

Mactech, Inc. is seeking Field Machinists to perform manual machining at customer sites across the United States. You will operate mills, lathes, line boring equipment, and portable machines, reading blueprints and job instructions while traveling 50%–75% of the time.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform manual machining at customer job sites across the U.S.
• Operate mills, lathes, line boring equipment, and specialty portable machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions
• Work safely in industrial, construction, and outdoor environments
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Travel for extended periods—often 50%–75% of the time
• Work overtime, including 12+ hour shifts and 7-day work weeks when onsite
