Field Machinist – Travel, Precision, and Hands-On Problem Solving!

Location: Breckinridge, Hardinsburg, KY
Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
Frequent Travel (75%) | Hands-On Work | Competitive Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do

Travel to customer locations to repair, modify, or install industrial equipment.
Operate portable machining equipment (mills, flange facers, boring bars, lathes, welders, etc.).
Assist with job planning, site visits, and custom tool design.
Collaborate with project engineers and supervisors to execute on-site machining solutions.
Work safely and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of machining/mechanical experience (Field experience is a plus!).
Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret scopes of work, and troubleshoot.
Welding experience is a plus.
CDL license and DOT certification preferred (must be 21+).
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Willing to travel frequently (up to 75%).
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with heavy machinery.
