Field Machinist – Travel, Precision, and Hands-On Problem Solving!

Location: Breckinridge, Hardinsburg, KY
Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Travel to customer locations to repair, modify, or install industrial equipment.
• Operate portable machining equipment (mills, flange facers, boring bars, lathes, welders, etc.).
• Assist with job planning, site visits, and custom tool design.
• Collaborate with project engineers and supervisors to execute on-site machining solutions.
• Work safely and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of machining/mechanical experience (Field experience is a plus!).
• Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret scopes of work, and troubleshoot.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• CDL license and DOT certification preferred (must be 21+).
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willing to travel frequently (up to 75%).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with heavy machinery.
