Job summary

Warren Cat is seeking a Machine Field Technician II in Poteau, OK to provide high-quality repair service on equipment and respond to customer needs positively and promptly. The role involves trouble shooting, diagnosing problems, performing repairs and testing to ensure reliable operation.

Responsibilities include completing jobs on time, paperwork, parts handling, and mentoring team members. A CDL and air-conditioning certification are required, with flexible schedules and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3–5 years related experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and staff.
• Clean driving record and CDL within 90 days; must be 21+.
• Knowledge of hand tools, air tools, measuring tools, laptops, diagnostics, cranes.
• Must be certified in air-conditioning.
• Flexibility for varying schedules, overtime, on-call.
• Must obtain or possess adequate tooling.
• Pass Work Steps assessment.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Mentor Machine team members.
