Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking an LTCR Inspector (Inspector V) to conduct on-site inspections, investigate abuse/neglect cases, and ensure compliance with state regulations across LTC facilities in the region. The role requires traveling up to 80% and occasional after-hours work.

Starting market rate salary is $60,431.88 annually with a monthly pay frequency and comprehensive state benefits including health insurance and retirement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Ability to conduct inspections and investigations and determine proper actions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and investigations, including abuse/neglect cases.
• Prepare written reports detailing deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Testify at hearings or court proceedings as needed.
• Develop and present findings and recommendations to providers.
