Job summary

ReSource Pro Growth Solutions is seeking an experienced Loss Control Surveyor to perform on-site risk assessments, interview insureds, photograph properties and generate comprehensive reports. The role requires travel to Richmond, VA and occasional remote-area visits, with a 1099 contract structure.

You will manage appointments, gather data, measure spaces, and deliver accurate online reports, while upholding core service values and professional conduct in client visits.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel occasionally to remote areas in Richmond, VA.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Computer: laptop preferred with high-speed internet (Windows or Windows VM on Mac).
• Measurement device to take measurements on site.
• Digital camera or capable phone for photos.
• State Issued Worker's Compensation (Preferred).
• Certificate of General Liability Insurance (Preferred).
• LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization (Preferred).
• Strong commitment to superior service.
• Self-motivation and self-discipline.
• Strong organizational, time management and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to technical/non-technical audiences.
• Represent ReSource Pro professionally on job sites.
• Able to adapt to new situations and changing priorities.
• Develops trust through integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with policyholders.
• Visit insured locations and conduct onsite interviews.
• Survey/inspect the location and identify hazards.
• Take digital photos of the site.
• Prepare and deliver a thorough online report.
• Measure and calculate square footage as needed.
• Provide improvement recommendations.
• Submit reports for QA and processing.
