Job summary

ReSource Pro is seeking a Loss Control Surveyor to assess risk at client sites and produce thorough reports. This is a 1099/contract position based in Lynchburg, VA, with occasional travel to remote areas.

You will conduct site interviews, inspect premises, identify hazards and measure square footage, then deliver a detailed online report for quality assurance.

Strong self-motivation, excellent communication and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this flexible, project-based role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Access to a measurement device and digital camera for site assessments.
• Own laptop with internet access and basic software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Preference for holding state workers' compensation and GL insurance certificates.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments with policyholders.
• Visiting insured locations and conducting onsite interviews.
• Surveying and inspecting sites for hazards.
• Taking digital photos of conditions.
• Writing up online loss control reports for QA.
• Delivering thorough reports after site visits.
