Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation in the Appalachian Basin seeks a Lease Operator in training to monitor wells and sites on an assigned route near Brenton, WV. You will work under supervision to learn operating procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities include routine site checks, monitoring compressors and pumps, gathering production data, and communicating with the foreman. This entry-level role may require on-call nights and weekends and physical tasks typical of field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report operation of wells and sites on an assigned route.
• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
• Monitor production equipment and perform light maintenance as necessary to ensure all equipment is well maintained and operating safely.
• Inspect lease sites to ensure they are clean and free of debris and overgrown vegetation.
• Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit all required reports and tickets in a timely manner; meets deadlines with few errors and/or missing information.
• Recognize production related issues and work with foreman and any other relative personnel to troubleshoot and resolve.
• Communicate regularly with production foreman on daily plans and issues; participate in periodic well reviews and safety meetings.
• Work to optimize productions in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule which includes some nights and weekends.
• Check for and address spills, fluid leaks, and trip hazards.
• Ensure company provided vehicle is properly maintained.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
