Job summary

Fluidstack is looking for a Fire Life Safety (FLS) Commissioning Lead in San Francisco, California. The role involves technical ownership of FLS commissioning across mission-critical facilities. You will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fire/life safety commissioning.
• Preferred nationally recognized commissioning certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document testing of fire alarm systems.
• Develop and maintain fire life safety commissioning scripts.
• Review drawings for code compliance and functional intent.

Skills

Understanding of NFPA and IBC codes

Fire alarm system testing

Smoke control system knowledge

Emergency communication systems

Education

Degree in fire protection engineering or related field

Tools
