Job summary

APTIM in New Mexico is seeking an LDAR Technician to perform leak detection and repair, collect data, and maintain records for complex analyzers and equipment. You will support field operations, calibrate analyzers daily, and coordinate maintenance tasks with LDAR contractors.

The role requires lifting up to 60 pounds, working at heights, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This is a physically demanding field position with exposure to heat or cold as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with LDAR policies and field data collection.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and at heights.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform LDAR policies and procedures on assigned project site.
• Daily analyzer calibration.
• Routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.
• Quarterly certification of analyzers.
• Coordinate LDAR field activities with LDAR contract technicians.
• Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
• Repair leaking components.
• Generate work requests and follow-up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
• Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.
• Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews.
