Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a hands-on worker to repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. You will clean and wash equipment and keep a tidy farm shop, while tracking tools and supplies. Housing and meals are provided to eligible workers.

Experience required is at least 3 months, with a valid driver’s license expected within 30 days and a clean driving record. This on-site role supports a rural farming operation in South Dakota.

Job description

Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, including planters, combines, grain carts, and all other planting and harvesting equipment. Clean and wash all farming equipment. Maintain a clean and tidy farm shop and keep track of all tools.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Fully furnished kitchen provided. Workers will have access to grocery stores at least once per week.

Transport: The employer will provide advance transportation for reasonable (most economical) common carrier or other transportation which conforms to the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) in bound transportation (if it is the prevailing practice). If not the prevailing practice, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and subsistence to the employer's work site when the worker completes 50% of the work period.
