Job summary

Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City, OK office is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. You will perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the field to verify suitability and conformance to industry specifications, supporting the Geotechnical Engineering teams.

The successful candidate will bring 1–5 years of testing experience, basic to intermediate math skills, and the ability to read test procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of construction materials testing experience
• Basic to intermediate math skills
• The ability to read and understand a test procedure
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• following proper procedures
• performing accurate computations using basic to intermediate math including some algebra
• maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc.
• working with a team in a challenging, fun, and fast paced environment towards a common goal
• having a dynamic work style which includes multi-tasking and being able to quickly shift focus from one task to another when needed
