Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is seeking a Field Services Calibration Technician for a full-time role based in Newport News, VA. You will provide calibration services in the lab and manage calibration activities for customers.

Responsibilities include performing calibrations across measurement domains, maintaining standards, scheduling items for calibration or repair, and ensuring safety and compliance. Requires 40+ hours per week, ability to lift 60 pounds, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent. An Associate degree or technical school preferred, or at least two years related experience.
• Basic calibration experience and measurement instrumentation familiarity.
• Commercial or Military experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week and lift 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide calibration services across measurement domains (e.g., temperature, torque, pressure).
• Identify and apply appropriate measurement techniques.
• Maintain calibration standards and documentation.
• Schedule and send items for calibration or repair as needed.
• Perform duties safely per company requirements and standards.
