AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond a desk job, with OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across multiple environments.

You will operate as a 1099 contractor, travel to sites, and handle on-site tasks ranging from hardware diagnostics to network setup. Flexibility and professionalism are essential for success in this field role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in IT/telecom field required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Mentions of field service and on-site work indicate travel and independence.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
