Job summary

HARDY INDUSTRIES seeks skilled technicians for a hands-on I.T. or Telecom role in Amherst, Massachusetts. This position involves a variety of tasks from OS installations to structured cabling across various environments such as retail and medical settings. You’ll be required to have relevant certifications or significant field experience and maintain flexibility to be on-call. The role offers travel pay and exposure to new technologies, and payments are hourly. This is a 1099 contractor position.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, or 5+ years field experience.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to accept job assignments based on availability and be on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Run structured cabling and perform Telecom work.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
