Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists, a growing IT company, is seeking a Technician to install, configure, and support workstations and peripherals for a large healthcare client. You will travel across Long Island, NYC, and Westchester, imaging devices and performing EPIC EMR testing to ensure Go-Live readiness.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with workstation imaging, hardware and software installation, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with workstation imaging, hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required; travel across Long Island, NYC, and Westchester County.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations across Long Island, NYC, and Westchester County.
• Image, configure, and deploy workstations following SOPs.
• Install and integrate desktops, laptops, tablets and peripherals into network environment.
• Perform EPIC EMR testing to validate device readiness for Go-Live.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
• Provide post-installation and post-deployment support as needed.
• Collaborate with end users to meet or exceed expectations.
