Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigate potential fraudulent insurance claims. You will perform both stationary and mobile surveillance, obtain video and photo evidence, and prepare comprehensive, client-ready reports.

This independent role requires a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle (preferably tinted), and access to a laptop and mobile device.

Qualifications

• Experience in covert surveillance and thorough investigative reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable personal vehicle, tinted windows preferred.
• Handheld camcorder with zoom; stabilization gear encouraged.
• Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet for tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surveillance by reviewing case information and reports.
• Perform covert surveillance from vehicle and capture high-quality video evidence.
• Draft thorough, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
• Finalize case files and upload footage; manage documentation.
• Coordinate with field supervisor and operations teams for guidance.
