Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and identify potential fraudulent insurance claims. This role involves stationary and mobile surveillance, obtaining video and photographic evidence, and preparing thorough, detailed reports for clients.

This independent role may require early starts, long hours, and travel within a two-hour radius with occasional overnights; weekends are common.

Qualifications

• Experience in covert surveillance and high-quality video capture.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle; tinted windows preferred.
• Handheld camcorder and stabilization gear required.
• Own laptop, cellphone and reliable internet for admin tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surveillance by reviewing case information and preliminary reports.
• Conduct stationary and mobile surveillance to capture video evidence.
• Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports detailing findings.
• Finalize case files and upload footage using a personal laptop.
• Coordinate with the field supervisor and operations teams for guidance.
