Job summary

PICS Inventory is hiring a Team Leader to count inventory for major retailers around Alliance, OH. You will travel as needed with a shared meet site arrangement for inventories beyond 30 miles of your territory.

We offer paid on-the-job training, opportunities for career advancement, and competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour, with 3-week advanced scheduling and mileage reimbursement for designated drivers.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory experience with the ability to manage small and mid-sized inventories.
• Be a Team player – work well within a team concept.
• Be courteous to the store’s customers and store managers when asked questions.
• Be professional in presentation and demeanor at all times.
• Continual training and development of team members to increase productivity while ensuring accuracy.
• Develop customer satisfaction in all inventories.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Available to begin work early morning hours, 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. (with centralized meet sites at earlier times). Occasional weekend and evening work available.
• Must have reliable transportation to inventory sites.
• Must have a reliable means of communication.

Responsibilities

• Count inventory for major retailers throughout the Alliance area.
• Some travel is required; carpool provided for inventories over 30 miles outside of your territory.
• Enter data into handheld collection device and scanner.
• On-site tasks include counting merchandise from top shelves to bottom shelves.
