Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Field Inventory Associate in Houston, TX. You will plan, schedule, and monitor inbound material movements, coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering, and develop specs for new contract orders.

Responsibilities include receiving and distributing materials, maintaining records, processing purchase orders in ERP, and performing cycle counts across locations to ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Access.
• Experience with ERP systems and data analysis (e.g., queries, pivot tables).
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and distribute materials based on requisitions.
• Maintain inventory records, reports, and metrics for audit readiness.
• Prepare, review, and maintain purchase orders and requisitions using ERP.
• Verify inventory accuracy through physical, cycle, and annual counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Determine and maintain storage and stock locations, including occasional operating room locations.
• Dispose of damaged, expired, or defective items per procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts across hospital and office locations and reconcile with inventory systems.
• Ensure signed Customer Consignment Agreement forms are in place and maintained.

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Summary:

The Field Inventory Associate plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers and determines material requirements in order to coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Additionally, in this role, you will develop specifications for new contract orders.

What You Will do:

• Receive, store, issue, and distribute materials, equipment, parts, and supplies based on requisitions
• Maintain accurate inventory records, reports, and metrics to support audit readiness and address quality issues with Branch management
• Compile, review, and maintain purchase orders, requisitions, and related documentation using an ERP system
• Verify inventory accuracy through physical counts, cycle counts, and annual full inventory; investigate discrepancies and submit adjustments
• Determine and maintain proper storage, identification, and stock locations in an orderly manner, including occasional operating room locations
• Dispose of damaged, expired, or defective items in accordance with established procedures
• Conduct cycle counts across hospital and office locations throughout the territory and reconcile results with company inventory systems
• Ensure signed Customer Consignment Agreement forms are in place and maintained for all consignment locations
