Job summary

Qualifications

• Face-to-face interviews with marine recreational anglers.
• Travel to assigned sites to interview anglers about fishing experiences.
• Weigh, measure, and identify fish by species name when possible.
• Complete field intercept forms and several other required study forms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field interviews with anglers at beaches, piers, docks, jetties, and access points.
• Collect data and complete field intercept forms for the APAIS study.
• Assist in weighing and identifying fish when feasible and report findings.
