Job summary

Kemper is seeking licensed insurance sales agents to join our field sales teams in Lumberton, NC. You will visit customers, present Kemper Life products, collect premiums, and close new policies.

This role offers uncapped commissions and a sign-on bonus, with income potential tied to performance. As a licensed agent, you will manage an established book of business, earn monthly collections, and benefit from a pay-for-performance model, awards, and trips.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life's products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with required auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating home visits, presenting products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining customer relationships by collecting premiums on a determined schedule.
• Responding to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork.
