Job summary

Midwest Technical Inspections, Inc. is seeking experienced independent contractors to perform field underwriting inspections for commercial and residential properties nationwide.

You will interview owners, tour premises, measure buildings, take photos, and identify hazards. WC inspections experience is a plus. Must have vehicle, internet, and a digital camera. Compensation is hourly/commission-based, with pay determined by length and complexity of each inspection.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Mathematical aptitude; ability to see spatial relationships.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally via telephone or in person with policyholders, clients, and representatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct insurance underwriting inspections at commercial and residential sites.
• Interview business owners and tour premises to assess hazards and safety concerns.
• Take measurements, photos and document conditions as required.
