Job summary

Midwest Technical Inspections, Inc. seeks experienced independent contractors to perform underwriting inspections in the field, focusing on commercial and residential properties and workers’ compensation inspections.

Inspectors travel to insureds’ sites, interview owners, document hazards, and photograph as needed. Contractors must have an insured vehicle, high-speed Internet, and a digital camera; earnings are commission-based and paid by the hour based on length and complexity of each

Responsibilities

• Assess hazards and safety concerns for workers’ compensation and commercial lines.
• Provide field inspection services across assigned territory; discuss availability with clients.
• Maintain insured vehicle, internet access, and a digital camera for inspections.
