Job summary

1100 Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Instrumentation Specialist to perform repairs and maintenance on laboratory equipment at our pharmaceutical client facilities.

The role reports to the Team Lead/Director and may include client training and project leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong lab instrumentation background, experience with GMP/GxP, and the ability to develop quotes and lead scope changes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in a wide range of instrumentation, equipment, and loop calibrations used in manufacturing, utilities, and lab settings.
• Strong CMMS skills and documentation discipline (GxP compliant).
• Ability to train others on proper use and handling of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level repairs, calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate GxP documentation.
• Provide guidance and effective solutions to clients and PCI team members.
• Develop client quotes and project scopes; manage scope changes and time/billing records.
• Ensure safety and compliance with PCI and client site requirements.
• Lead projects or act as Account Manager for select clients as needed.
