Job summary

AlphaStaff, Inc. is seeking two Instrument Tube Fitters to support field service operations in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities include fabricating, installing, and maintaining instrument tubing systems per engineering specs and applicable codes.

Role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, reading P&IDs and isometric drawings, and proficiency with tube fittings. Travel to multiple project sites with field-based work environment.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and instrument loop diagrams.
• Experience with compression fittings, NPT connections, stainless steel tubing.
• Knowledge of instrument tubing codes and standards (ASME B31.3, ANSI).
• Ability to safely operate tube benders, cutters and related fabrication equipment.
• Strong safety awareness in oil and gas environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and route instrument tubing systems per drawings and project specs.
• Perform tube bending, fitting, and connection using appropriate tools.
• Install instrumentation including transmitters, gauges, control valves, and related components.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, codes, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Conduct pressure and leak tests and document results.
