Job summary

Topographic, Inc. is seeking a field Rod Person/Instrument Tech to work on survey projects in the Benbrook, TX area. You will perform field measurements, assist with pipeline and topographic surveys, and help ensure data integrity in a small crew.

Relocation may be required. A valid driver’s license, ability to work long hours, and physical endurance are essential. You will read plans, set stakes, and maintain safety on site.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work as Rod Person/Instrument Tech on a small crew at assigned sites, including field checks of data.
• Read and understand plans and specifications; perform measurements and data checks.
• Dig ground to locate survey monuments and set grades with stakes and rebar.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
