Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking an Instrument Operator to support land development, infrastructure, construction and commercial projects across the Northeast.

You will operate Leica Robotics, Total Station and drones, set up equipment, measure, and collaborate with the crew chief, maintaining safety. Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering or related field, 0–5 years of experience, OSHA 10, and strong communication skills; winter weather readiness is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or relatable field.
• 0-5 years of professional work experience.
• Preferably one internship or one year of experience in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or Civil Contracting.
• Knowledge and ability to utilize equipment.
• Experience and/or interest in working on a construction site.
• OSHA 10.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to weather the elements and work through the winter months.

Responsibilities

• Operate various Survey Equipment; including Leica Robotics, Total Station, Drones and other modern equipment
• Set up equipment and collaborate with crew chief to complete various construction layout, boundary and topo services
• Coordinate with crew chief to calculate measurements
• Maintain safety at all times
