Job summary

TPI Global Solutions is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Technician II to support maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment at Caney pipeline facilities.

The role emphasizes safe, reliable operations with hands-on electrical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, and adherence to OQ and safety standards. On-call and occasional overnight travel are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in electrical, instrumentation, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to operate a CMV and complete the required qualification process.
• Willingness to live within 40 miles of Caney, KS.
• Ability to perform fieldwork outdoors and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Maintain and repair electric motors, switchgear, MCCs, pumps, valves, flow meters, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and UPS systems.
• Support pipeline facility maintenance, capital projects, equipment upgrades, and operational improvements.
• Complete maintenance records, inspections, and work orders using Maximo or other CMMS.
• Follow safety procedures, OQ requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with operations teams, contractors, and technical personnel to complete activities.
• Assist with equipment evaluations, material procurement, and contractor oversight.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency maintenance as required.
