**Location: The technician can be based anywhere in the U.S., but must be willing to travel 100% to our customers.**

Tires as a Service (TaaS), a new initiative by Goodyear, is seeking skilled mechanical installers to join our team. As a technician, you'll work independently, providing top-notch service to our customers. Punctuality is essential, and we provide comprehensive on-the-job training along with all necessary tools and resources.

We offer a competitive starting salary of $80,000 annually, based on experience. The role requires 100% travel across the U.S. to serve our customers. Join us and be part of something exceptional!

About the Role: What will you do?

1. Perform installation of telematic devices and tire inflation systems on commercial vehicles.
2. Collaborate with the Customer Service Delivery team for hardware troubleshooting and field maintenance.
3. Train service providers on sensor and telematics installations and oversee outsourced installation activities.
4. Manage receipt, storage, and accurate registration or scanning of hardware equipment.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel 100%, including air and car travel, Monday through Friday.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical installation/repair work on tractor trailers, including:
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems (12-24V), vehicles, electronics, measuring voltage, troubleshooting circuits.
• Hands-on mechanical tasks such as drilling, fastening, and torquing.
• Experience with tire maintenance and working with commercial vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems like TPMS, ABS, ATIS, and OBD-II.
