Job summary

Diversified Fall Protection (DFP) is seeking an Installation Technician II to fabricate, inspect, and install fall protection systems nationwide. The role requires travel up to 95%, strong problem-solving, safety focus, and excellent customer service.

You will work under Project Managers, perform testing and certification, maintain records, and support safety policies. High school diploma required; physical demands include lifting up to 75 lbs and working at heights.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and general construction practices.
• Must follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Willingness to work at heights and travel up to 95%.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and complying with PPE.
• Reliable transportation and smartphone capable of required apps.
• Self-motivated team player with strong customer service.
• Experience with field construction means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and installation of fall protection systems on job sites nationwide.
• Support supervisors and foremen with project-related tasks.
• Test and certify equipment per engineering guidelines under supervision.
• Adhere to safety policies and document daily activities and reports.
• Maintain accurate records of time, travel, and per diem.
• Read construction drawings and manage on-site inventory.
• Perform general labor tasks and assist with site preparation.
• Continuously improve skills and performance.
