AT&T is hiring Installation Technicians to deliver high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customer homes and small businesses in Montgomery, Illinois. You’ll work independently, install new lines, and activate networks while providing best-in-class service and comfort with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Training provided; lifting requirements apply; wage range posted with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid state driver's license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs - ladders weigh 50-60 lbs.
• Work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre-employment assessments.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customer sites.
• Work independently at customers' homes and businesses as a trusted expert.
• Troubleshoot and activate new lines and networks.
• Maintain safety and ladder protocols during installations.
