Job summary

Premier Roofing seeks a Field Inspector to perform residential exterior inspections, document storm-related damage, and act as the on-site representative for homeowners throughout the insurance restoration process.

You will travel extensively (over 50%), coordinate with sales, claims, estimating, and operations, and support production during low-volume periods with pre-build reviews and QA visits. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential exterior property inspections following company standards.
• Identify storm-related damage and document findings.
• Capture detailed photos, measurements, and inspection documentation.
• Utilize technology platforms to complete inspection reports in real time.
• Ensure inspection quality meets carrier and internal expectations.
• Serve as the primary on-site representative of Premier Roofing.
• Educate homeowners on the insurance restoration process.
• Set expectations regarding project timelines and next steps.
• Build trust through professionalism, communication, and reliability.
• Coordinate with centralized sales, estimating, and operations teams.
• Maintain SLA adherence for inspections, documentation, and follow-up.
• Communicate field observations that may impact claims or production.
• Conduct pre-build site reviews and verify project readiness.
• Support material deliveries and job start coordination when needed.
• Perform quality assurance visits during construction.
• Complete final walkthroughs and verify customer satisfaction.
• Assist production with issue resolution and requests.
• Support punch list completion and project closeout.
