LJA, a leading employee-owned construction firm, invites a Construction Inspector to serve as the Owner's eyes and ears on field projects. You will observe, measure, and document work, ensuring conformance with contract documents while maintaining precise records and coordinating testing and surveys.

The role supports CC-215 corridor and other roadway or public-infrastructure projects, with opportunities to grow through in-house training and a strong ESOP culture.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to active project sites.
• Typically five or more years of heavy-civil, transportation, public-works construction, or inspection experience.

Aufgaben

• Observe construction, verify conformance with contract documents and approved requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily records and photographs documenting work and quantities.
• Coordinate testing and survey needs and communicate issues early to the project team.
• Inspect roadway, bridge, drainage, earthwork, concrete, paving, and related work.
