Job summary

Always Compassionate Health in New York seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for home infusion visits across the Bronx and Westchester. The role initiates infusion care in patients’ homes, performs follow-ups, and may precept new nurses as requested.

Applicants must have NYS RN license and at least 3 years in home infusion settings; infusion experience and IV/SCIG/biologic meds are required; reliable transportation and HIPAA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Infusion experience is required in home infusion, hospital, or clinic settings.
• Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
• Ability to interpret physicians' orders and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for IV/PIV, PICC, and central lines.
• Educate patients and families on therapy administration via IV infusion.
• Ensure patient safety, monitoring, and post-infusion follow-up.
• Communicate with patients, families, infusion pharmacy and providers.
• Collaborate with infusion manager, coordinators and office staff.
• Conduct on-site field visits and supervise nursing staff when requested.
• Multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively.
