Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a motivated Industrial Hygienist to join our growing environmental consulting team in Colorado. You will collect samples, analyze data, prepare reports, and work in the field on building assessments and sampling.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in a related field, 1–5+ years of experience, and knowledge of OSHA/EPA/Colorado regulations. We offer annual bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 1–5+ years of relevant industrial hygiene or environmental consulting experience.
• Strong report-writing and data-interpretation abilities.
• Experience with asbestos, mold and lead sampling; OSHA/EPA/Colorado regulations knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Collect building material, air, and noise samples.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Input data into template reports.
• Lead-based paint inspections and clearance testing.
• Water intrusion and mold assessments with moisture mapping and sampling.
• Prepare clear, accurate work-performed reports.
