Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking an Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems Engineer to analyze and redesign sequences of operations and work flows to boost plant efficiencies. You will establish methods for optimal use of facilities and personnel, and conduct cost/control studies to drive improvements in production systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts.
Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
Conducts studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production records systems.
Develops and implements plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
Assists facilities engineers in planning and design of facilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems Engineering, or similar engineering discipline
