Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Industrial Electrician to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on industrial equipment across client sites. You will diagnose electrical and control system issues, interpret schematics, and ensure safe, compliant operation of production machinery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent service to clients.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Proficiency with multimeters, megohmmeters, amp clamps, and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO, Arc Flash, and electrical safety best practices.
• Must travel locally between customer sites daily; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation on industrial machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and control system issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints; interpret technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety-compliant testing.
• Support startups, upgrades, and commissioning activities at client sites.
• Document work performed and communicate maintenance needs to clients.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools; participate in on-call and overtime as needed.
