Job summary

Calpine Corporation seeks an experienced IC&E Technician III to support safe, reliable operation of our natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants. In this field-based role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems that drive critical generation assets.

Responsibilities include calibrating field instruments, supporting DCS/PLC operation, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and interpreting P&IDs and schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation, controls and electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and schematics and calibrate field instruments.
• Experience supporting DCS/PLC operation in power generation environments.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate field instruments and perform preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, controls and electrical systems driving generation assets.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams while following safety and environmental standards.
