Job summary

KODA Resources Management, LLC is seeking a skilled I&E Tech II to support Uintah Basin operations. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems including SCADA, RTUs, PLCs, and instrumentation.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient operations, meet regulatory standards, and contribute to system optimization in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of oil and gas field automation experience required.
  • Proficiency with SCADA platforms, PLC/RTU configuration, and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrical and instrumentation theory in oilfield environments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair RTUs, PLCs, instrumentation, comms equipment, and low-voltage systems.
  • Maintain field diagnostics and SCADA/automation documentation.
  • Configure and calibrate field devices (pressure, temp, level).
  • Assist in design and programming of automation logic.
  • Support upgrades and expansion of field data networks.
  • Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, manuals.
  • Maintain safety compliance and electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and I&E teams.
