Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Servicemen to support healthcare, manufacturing, higher education, K12, and commercial real estate customers. In this field-based role, you will commission, service, and maintain advanced commercial HVAC equipment while helping customers improve comfort, reliability, and building efficiency.

This truck-based union position will involve hands-on service, customer consultation, and practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Two years' practical experience with residential or commercial mechanical equipment.
• Two years' commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair of three-phase HVAC equipment, RTUs, heat pumps, and fans.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot three-phase HVAC equipment including RTUs and heat pumps.
• Assist with repair of centrifugal, absorption, screw, and scroll chillers.
• Provide recommendations to improve comfort, reliability, and efficiency.
• Prepare labor and material quotes to support service work.
• Support on-call coverage including weekends, nights, and holidays.
