Job summary

Ambient Enterprises seeks a field HVAC commercial technician with strong chiller water system experience to service Northern California within a 100 mile radius. The role requires a valid California HVAC license, EPA Universal Technician certification, and 5 years journeyman experience in commercial/industrial HVAC, with proven ability to test, start up, troubleshoot, and perform on-site maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of journeyman level work experience.
• Commercial/industrial air conditioning experience required.
• Knowledge of chillers, HVAC, and central plants.
• HVAC large tonnage field knowledge required.
• On-call availability for emergency service calls.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair central plant equipment including chillers 100 tons and larger.
• Overhaul centrifugal chillers is a plus.
• Perform daily and monthly preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Schedule and manage site-wide maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting on-site equipment.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
