Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, with Overtime Opportunities

Pay Range: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Install, service, and repair portable HVAC equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance during emergency or scheduled events.
• Perform maintenance tasks, from preventative measures to annual servicing.
• Mentor and lead junior technicians, taking on more complex projects requiring advanced HVAC knowledge.
• Communicate detailed job notes and updates with your team, maintaining organized records using company-provided technology.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, keep vehicles organized, and adhere to professional standards while delivering excellent customer service.

What It Takes

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair, preferably with portable or commercial systems.
• Proficiency with electrical meters, vacuum pumps, refrigerant retrieval equipment, and combustion analyzers.
• EPA certification (Type 2 or Universal) for handling refrigerants.
• Ability to diagnose electrical circuits and interpret wiring schematics.
• Preferred experience with fuel systems and a strong desire to grow in HVAC diagnostics and service.
• Valid driver’s license with 2+ years of commercial driving experience and a clean 5-year record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Physical capability to work in various environments, lift 25+ lbs, and work on ladders.
• Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and comfort with technology.

When & Where You'll Work

• Regular schedule with rotating on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Potential for overtime during peak seasons or emergencies.
• Transport equipment to customer sites, working solo or with a team.
• Work in diverse environments, from retail to manufacturing plants.
• Unbox, test, and prepare equipment when not on the road.
