Job summary

California Hydronics Corporation is seeking an Associate Service Technician to perform start-ups, tuning, troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and plumbing systems in field operations.

You will travel to sites, work with Building Management Systems interfaces, and handle high voltage work up to 480V. The role requires 3+ years in related trades, an EPA 608 license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in commercial/industrial HVAC, plumbing, boiler or pumping equipment.
• EPA 608 License (Type II or Universal) is required.
• Driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with tablets, diagnostic tools and Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-ups, tuning, troubleshooting and warranty repairs on CHC lines.
• Verify equipment setup and programming per manuals.
• Set up and troubleshoot interfaces with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Measure voltage up to 480V and wire panels and equipment.
• Provide operational guidance and training to customers and maintenance staff.
• Maintain company vehicle and manage tool inventory.
