About the Role:

Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Field Hockey/Soccer/Basketball Summer Camp Counselor! This exciting position allows you to inspire and mentor young athletes while fostering a love for sports in a fun and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily sports activities and drills for campers in field hockey, soccer, and basketball.

Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal development among participants.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers during activities.

Assist in the planning and execution of camp events and tournaments.

Provide constructive feedback and support to help campers improve their skills.

Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere throughout the camp.

Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.

Participate in staff training and meetings to enhance coaching techniques.

Requirements:

Experience in coaching or playing field hockey, soccer, or basketball preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with campers.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Must be enthusiastic, responsible, and a team player.

Availability to work during the summer camp season.

Background in youth sports or education is advantageous.
