Job summary

MSAD 11 is seeking a Field Hockey Coach to lead practices at Gardiner Regional Middle School for the 2026-2027 season. Immediate opening with focus on teaching core skills and game strategy to middle school students.

Required certifications include CHRC authorization, NFHS Heat Acclimatization and Concussion, CPR/First Aid, and NFHS Coaching certification. Coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory, with stipend provided for the season.

Qualifications

• Current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.
• NFHS course certification in Heat Acclimatization and Concussion.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• NFHS Coaching certification.
• Coaching experience in Field Hockey is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coach Field Hockey for MSAD 11 and Middle School students.
• Teach skills and strategies of the game to players at the middle school level.
• Promote safety, teamwork, and sportsmanship during practices and games.
