Ferrovial’s Webber division seeks an experienced Heavy Civil Mechanic to service projects across Waxahachie, TX. The role involves repairing heavy equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues in field conditions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of experience as a heavy equipment/diesel mechanic, preferably in the field.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical documents.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and drive to projects to perform maintenance and repair work on heavy equipment (dozers, excavators, track hoes).
• Perform inspections, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair; weld equipment as needed.
• Read and fill out service-related documents; conduct preventative maintenance inspections; ensure safety and clean work area.
