Job summary

Mulller Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician in Manassas, VA. This full-time, exempt role focuses on field lube services, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to keep our fleet running on schedule.

You will operate on-site with a tech-savvy crew, handling oil changes, filters, diagnostics, and quick field repairs while upholding safety and quality standards. Equal opportunity employer; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be a US born citizen.
• Must have a clean background.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a REAL ID.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Minimum 3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic knowledge.
• Must be comfortable driving large vehicles - lube truck.
• Must be willing to learn additional tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Field lube services (50% of day) - oil changes, topping off hydraulic and coolant, etc.
• Changing filters including oil, air, fuel, etc.
• Perform preventative services on trucks and equipment - easy and direct services that minimize downtime.
• Perform small and quick diagnostics or report back faulty items in the field.
• Perform small repairs in the field such as hydraulic line repairs, alternator replacements, battery replacements, quick assembly glass doors, etc.
• Perform quality control checks of the crew's daily maintenance and training for report accuracy.
• Take small portable equipment or safety-related items to job sites on the route for the day.
• Handle special projects or other duties as assigned.
